Empire Theatres Grant Park is making a run at being one of the prestige theatres in Winnipeg. Their reclining seats make it one of the most comfortable 2 hours I’ve ever spent in a theatre. They also offer great concessions such as New York Fries, TCBY, and PretzleMaker.
The theatre now has reduced prices on weekdays — movies for only $6.99 Monday – Thursday.
That’s not all, they also have The Student Combo which gets you a movie, popcorn, and drink for $9.99 (Valid for Students Only)
The Fine Print:
A Valid 2008-2009 photo student identification from a publicly funded accredited University or College must be presented at the Box Office. Students are only permitted to purchase this combo for performances running on the same day of the purchase and must redeem their receipt for the concession portion of combo on the same day. Students are only permitted to use their Student ID for this combo once per day. Subject to seat availability. No refunds. Exchanges on admission ticket are only permitted by re-submitting student ID and must be for another performance on the same day. A surcharge will apply for Real D presentations. No substitutions or time extensions. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Not valid for advance purchases, special programs, events (e.g. WWE and Reel Babies), or IMAX presentations. This offer is only valid at participating Empire Theatres in ON, AB, MB, BC and exclusively in Antigonish, NS. Offer is valid September 1, 2008 through to October 31, 2008 and January 7, 2009 through to April 30, 2009.
