Jazz Winnipeg is thrilled to announce the first three headlining acts of the 2009 GROOVE-FM Jazz Winnipeg Festival. Legendary soul singer Al Green will hit the Centennial Concert Hall on June 30th. On June 23rd, The Derek Trucks Band will play a special festival preview show at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre. And on July 2nd, jazz songstress Dee Dee Bridgewater will be joined by the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra for one-of-a-kind performance.
Tickets for all three spectacular concerts will go on sale Thursday, March 26 at 10:00 am.
