Reminder that your 2008 income tax return must be filed by midnight tonight, April 30.
Workers are outside of the Canada Revenue Agency building on Stapon Road in Transcona to allow you to make quick drive-thru style drop offs.
You can also file by mail, phone, or my favorite… e-file.
It is most important for anyone owing taxes as there will be a late penalty charged if you do not file on time.
Anyone affected by the flood has been granted an extension of June 1, 2009 to file their taxes. You must contact the government ahead of time if you are a flood victim and will be filing late.
