Manny Pacquiao absolutely dominated Ricky Hatton and cemented his claim as being the best pound-for-pound boxer in the sport. Pacquiao knocked Hatton down two times in the first round and delivered the knock out blow in the final seconds of the second round.
It was pure domination. Pacquiao now has his eye on the next major boxing event which will be Mayweather Jr. vs Marquez on July 18, 2009. The assumption is that Pacquiao will fight the winner of that match.
Pacquiao earned $12 million for the fight, while Hatton was paid $8 million.
