Winnipeg’s Old Market Square will be debuting its face lift this weekend with 3 free concerts. The square just completed a 9-month renovation that include low-flowing cement walls now hemming in the grass square. It is just phase 1 of a $3.3 million renovation project.
In celebration of the 20th Jazz Winnipeg Festival, the follow concerts will be free of charge at Old Market Square this weekend:
Friday July 3 6:00pm – Trio Bembe’s rhythms of Cuba and Brazil
Saturday July 4 2:00pm – Ministers of Cool
Sunday July 5 2:00pm – Groovy Moustache
