From today through July 12th, the Winnipeg Humane Society will be offering cat adoptions for $25. This is a great opportunity to save a stay cat from being euthanized.
The $25 fee includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, spay or neuter surgery, microchip, tattoo, first vaccination, de-worming, six weeks of Pet Secure Insurance and a two-week health check.
Winnipeg Humane Society is also in need of wet cat food and monetary donations. Twenty-five dollars doesn’t even cover the cost of a microchip, never mind all the other things the humane society is providing for each adopted animal.
Did you know that pet’s are excellent for your heath? If you are on the fence about whether or not you should get a pet, it’s a wide know fact that pets are excellent for your health! They may not prevent H1N1 but they sure might help.
The Humane Society is located at 45 Hurst Way, off of Waverly. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday, 12pm-8pm, Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5:30pm.
