Jane’s walk is composed of numerous free neighborhood walking tours. Each year these walks take place across the world during the first weekend of May. Janes Walk has been started in honour of Jane Jacobs an urban activist and write who championed the interests of local residents and pedestrians over a car-centred approach to planning.
There are thirteen walks scheduled throughout the weekend. From Transcona, to Old St. Vital and even a walk relating to Rapid Transit and Meditation.
For a full list of walks you can you can check out the schedule here. For more information you can check out the Jane’s Walk website.
