The Winnipeg Blue Bombers want to make the 2010/11 Season (the last at the Canad Inns Stadium) a whole new experience for Winnipeg fans. They will be changing the face of Gameday and the excitement starts as soon as you step onto stadium grounds.
There will be tons of entertainment outside the stadium while fans are entering. CJOB’s Bob Irving will broadcast the pre-game show live as fans arrive.
Season ticket holders can now enter up to 1.5 hours prior to the game and watch the players warm up.
There will also be new concessions for fans to load up on! Salisbury House has added locations in both upper concourses as well as a mobile location in the west parking lot near the Bomber store that will stay open after the game.
Centerplate will be offering souvenir popcorn tubs, BBQ Chicken and Pulled Pork sandwiches as well as an increased amount of French Fries throughout the stadium.
Pizza Hotline has been added in two permanent locations on the main concourse as well.
In addition to all of this, the club also promises increase security to ensure no outside liquor enters the stadium. There will also be a no re-entry policy. Once you leave the stadium, you can’t come back in.
This is all to enhance fan experience and make sure 2010 is one of the best seasons we’ve seen.
Go blue!
