Microsoft’s Syed Bilal Tariq has reported that October 2010 November, 2010 will be the definite launch date for Project Natal on the XBOX 360.
If you’ve never heard of Project Natal, its the XBOX 360’s answer to the WII. It is a very high definition camera/motion sensor that will accurately detect all your movements (to the twinkle of your finger tips). Your body becomes the controller for the video games and is pretty much a HD WII without a remote.

Sony is doing something similar on the PS3 with the Playstation Move. But unlike Microsoft’s approach, Sony uses a motion stick similar to the WII remote.
