GlobalTV Winnipeg recently did an awesome segment on the wackiest phone calls our cities 311 number has received. 311 is used to answer questions regarding city services such as Winnipeg transit times, or questions regarding garbage collection.
But some people use it for more than just that. 311 receives about 2-million calls a year, and some of them are pretty wacky. One called to get the population of Canada, another called for assistance on finding out who the father of her son is, and another needed assistance in finding a good escort service in the city.
