Notice how I left out the question mark at the end of the title? It’s because that was not a question.
The Guess Who topped the Top 100 Canadian Singles with ‘American Woman’ (ironic, eh?) in a new book released today by author Bob Mersereau.
Winnipeg has it’s share of hits on the list thanks to Randy Bachman (with 8 entries). The top 5 are rounded out with “Heart of Gold” by Neil Young, “The Weight” by the Band, “Summer of ’69” by Bryan Adams and Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
