If you have friends and relatives around the US and Canada then you should be taking advantage of Gmail’s free US/Canada phone calling through it’s chat application.
All you need is a Gmail account and there should be a ‘Call phone’ button on your Chat box.
Phone calls to US/Canada are free until December 31, 2011. International calls are around 2 cents a minute.
