The Government of Canada has made significant changes to airport screening that will increase passenger convenience while maintaining a high level of security.
New technology and screening procedures will enhance the flow of passengers and luggage through the security checkpoints.
Travellers can now also bring small scissors and tools that are no longer than six centimetres (excluding the handle) on to the aircraft. Knives of any size or length remain prohibited.
Remember, these are Canadian rule changes. If you are flying international, these items may still be prohibited on connecting and return flights.
