The 2010/2011 NBA Season ends this Wednesday, but the NBA wants to give you the last few days of the season free via NBA League Pass. This is most likely to promote a subscription next year.
All you have to do is sign up at this page or use your credentials from the last free trial.
A friend and I purchased a half season of NBA League Pass last year and it was amazing. Games that are offered on Canadian TV (ABC, TSN, SportsNet, Raptors NBATV) are blacked out which means you won’t be able to watch them.

The free trial is until April 15, 2011. Even when the regular season ends on Wedensday, you still have access to video archives for a few days before the playoffs!
