It’s allowed almost everywhere else, so why not here? The province is expected to announce today that Beer and Wine will now be available at some Grocery Stores as part of a pilot test project.
The falling sales of legal tobacco (which is a very good thing) is unfortunately causing smaller convenience stores to close shop. Adding the sales of Beer and Wine can help these smaller stores stay a float.
Nothing better than heading to Superstore to do some groceries and picking up a 6-pack.
