The Province will dedicate $22 million towards upgrading Birds Hill Provincial Park over the next five years.
The money will go to a hundred new full-service campsites, modern washrooms and new play areas. There are also plans to expand the beach.
Being one of the closest beaches to Winnipeg, around 730,000 people visit Birds Hill Park every year, making it the busiest provincial park in Manitoba.
