The last time True North made a significant announcement we ended up with an NHL team and a party at The Forks.
On Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11am just before the NHL draft and live from Westin Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota, True North is going to make another significant hockey operations announcement in regards to the new NHL franchise in Winnipeg.
The rumour is that Claude Noel, Manitoba Moose head coach last season, will be named the Winnipeg head coach. I hoping more that our nameless NHL team will finally have a name and our draftees will have a jersey/hat to wear!
