Every Friday night in August, Assiniboine Park will be hosting Movies in the Park. They will be screening some awesome summer blockbusters at the open-air Lyric Theatre on a truly cinema-style outdoor screen. All you need to bring is a chair and blanket.
Mosquitoes have been nonexistent this year, but I would bring some bug spray just in case. Either way, it should be tons of fun a great/unique date night.
Each Friday will have an early feature at 7:00pm (which is more tailored for children), and a late feature at 9:15pm.
