Tourism Winnipeg posted these great sneak peak photos of Winnipeg’s new Airport terminal opening October 30, 2011.
The terminal looks amazing, with a lot of similarities to Vancouver’s international Airport. I’m really digging the science-fiction style lights above the baggage claim ramps. Plenty of natural light and windows all over the building. There’s even a glass windows at departure areas so you can wave goodbye to your loved ones even after they’ve passed the security check.
My next vacation can’t come any sooner.
