A lot of Winnipeggers will receive 50 cent raises this Saturday! Starting October 1, 2011, minimum wage in Manitoba will be increased to $10.00/hour.
Just last year, minimum wage went up from $9.00 to $9.50. This marks a $1 hike in 2 years.
