The NHL will be hosting the 2011 Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off Festival at The Forks on October 6, 2011. This festival will officially open up the 2011/2012 NHL Season!
The Forks will be transformed to a huge NHL venue for the season-opening hockey and entertainment event. Fans will be treated to live musical performances, interactive hockey attractions, a live broadcast of the opening night game between the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and guest appearances from George Stroumboulopoulos, CBC late-night host, among others.
The whole festival will run from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Activities will be free including live performances, and hockey skill challenges to win various prizes! Molson Canadian Hockey House will also offer cold beer and entertainment for fans 18 years or older. [WINNIPEG FREE PRESS]
