Construction is nearing completion at a new Swiss Chalet location in Winnipeg. All previous locations in Winnipeg has closed down, so this will be the only Swiss Chalet in Winnipeg. It will be located right across the Walmart on Kenaston.
Swiss Chalet is a Canadian chain of family restaurant and fast food restaurants founded in 1954 in Toronto. It is owned by Cara Operations, which also owns the fast food chain Harvey’s. The first Swiss Chalet restaurant, at 234 Bloor Street West in Toronto, operated for 52 years.
