Save those nickles. Due to rising fuel prices, it looks like Winnipeg Transit fares will be going up again in 2012.
Effective January 1, 2012, the changes would include 5-cent increases to the following:
* Full and handi-transit cash fares
* Reduced and senior cash fares
* Full and handi-transit tickets
Reduced and senior tickets will increase by 3 cents per ticket.
Full Fare Fees for 2012:
Cash – 2.45
Ticket – 2.15
Reduced Fare Fees for 2012:
Cash – 1.95
Ticket – 1.46
