2012 is looking like a good year for action flicks! Jack the Giant Killer is a modern day fairy tale in which the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened, as a young farmer leads an expedition into the giants’ kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess.
The fairy tale originates from the British and is closely related to Jack and the Beanstalk. Directed by Bryan Singer and stars Nicholas Hoult.
Jack the Giant Killer hits theatres June 15, 2012.
