The city would like to remind the public that you can recycle yard waste this spring with the Leaf It With Us program.
Starting today, March 23, 2012, residents can recycle their yard waste by dropping it off at any of the Leaf It With Us depots, seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The yard waste will be composted into a reusable soil-like material and used to landscape finished landfill areas.
Leaf It With Us depots accept only:
* bagged leaves, lawn thatch, grass clippings, plants, flowers and other garden material
* tree clippings, small branches (no more than 10 centimetres or 4 inches in diameter and must be bundled and tied)
