Manitoba’s Labour Management Review Committee has recommended that Sunday shopping be extended by 3 hours. If approved, Sunday shopping hours will be 9am – 6pm instead of 12pm – 6pm. The new hours are expected to be in effect before the 2012 holiday season.
I would have preferred 12pm – 9pm… who wants to get up at 9am on a Sunday morning to shop? Anyone working at retail chains should prepare themselves for earlier Sunday morning shifts. [CJOB]
