Investors Group Field, that has a capacity seating of 33,500, expandable to 40,000, will not be available for the start of the Blue Bomber season as originally planned.
The new state-of-the-art home of the team will now open on Friday, September 21 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. However, if the stadium finishes ahead of schedule, the Banjo Bowl against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on September 9 will take place at Investors Group Field.
Season ticket holders who purchased seats at Investors Group Field will get their seat from 2011 at Canad Inns Stadium. The will also only pay 2011 prices for those games. All season ticket holders will have their account credited the difference in prices. [BLUEBOMBERS]
