What is the Fannex Effect? Fannex is a Winnipeg innovation that aims to create a visual effect unlike anything seen before in sports and concert venues. The plan is to ‘light up the stands’ at MTS Centre and create some amazing visuals during Winnipeg Jets games and concerts (see the video above).
Fannex will be doing a trial run of the effect at MTS Centre on July 25, 2012. They will attempt to create a Canadian flag with smartphones. You can sign up for the trial through their website. You need to have an iPhone, Blackberry, or Android smartphone with 3G access. Participants will be automatically entered to win an iPad 3. Refreshments will be offered. [FANNEX]
