Earlier this month we got confirmation on the first 3 Winnipeg Zellers locations being converted to Target Stores, and now we know which ones wont make it.
The Hudson’s Bay Company (which was the former owner of Zellers before the Target buyout) confirmed that Zellers stores in the basement of the downtown Bay (I had no idea there was a Zellers there) and at the Northgate Mall on Mcphillips will be closed down before March 2013. No news on what will take over those locations, but it wont be a Target.
On the plus side, expect some great liquidation sales to begin soon. [CJOB]
