The Winnipeg Fringe Festival set record attendance numbers in it’s 25th anniversary. Indoor attendance was 100,621, which shattered the 87,851 number in 2011. The record 1,459 total performances from 172 companies was a huge contribution to it’s success. There were 175 sellouts, and performers saw $686,188 in box office revenue.
Scorching hot temperatures and a thunderstorm on July 29 had an impact on outdoor attendance which saw 7,232 young Fringers at Kids Fringe.
