Festival du Voyageur Presents Ice It To Work Day on the River Trail!
Winnipeggers are encouraged to hit the River Trail and skate, ski, snowshoe, bike, run or walk TO WORK! Be a part of the second annual Ice It To Work Day on the Guinness World Record’s longest naturally frozen skating trail.
You can energize yourself along the way at one of the “Pit Stops.” Glide on over to Green Action Centre and Peg City Car Co-op’s Pit Stop for a warm treat. They’ll be set up on the Assiniboine River at the base of the Osborne Bridge (on the south side).
Experience the allure of the trail in the early morning hours – this picturesque commute along the Assiniboine and Red Rivers is an exceptional Winnipeg way to start your day. The first 100 commuters to stop by any of the hosted Pit Stops will receive special surprises and gifts. [ICE IT TO WORK DAY]
