Pothole season is well underway in Winnipeg. The City has already received more than 300 phone calls about potholes. Drivers should practice caution as the roads seem to be worse than ever.
Damage caused by potholes can cost drivers up to a $1,000 to repair. Damages include: bent rims, flat tires, struts, shocks, and tire rods.
The City blames the high number of potholes on warmer temperatures. MPI is working with the city on repairing those potholes.
City crews have been out patching up potholes for the last month and plans are in the works to ramp up resources in the days and weeks to come. [CTV WINNIPEG]
