The Winnipeg Jets have revealed their 2013-14 Broadcast schedule.
Once again, all Winnipeg Jets games will be televised this upcoming season. For the third year in a row, the Jets first game of the season will be featured on CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada as they visit the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday, October 1st at 9:00 p.m. CT. The Jets will appear on HNIC 14 times in total this season (eight games at MTS Centre, six away games).
The Jets will also play five games on TSN’s national network (three at home, two on the road), including a divisional match-up against the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. CT. They will also play two TSN national games against the Vancouver Canucks on Friday, January 31st and Wednesday, March 12th – both at MTS Centre. Game times for both Vancouver games at MTS Centre have been changed to 7:30 p.m. CT.
