Just in time for the first day of winter, the Assiniboine Park Duck Pond will be open for skating at noon on Saturday, December 21, 2013.
Tthe family-style toboggan run located just south of the Duck Pond is also open to the public. Once you’re all done your activities, visitors can warm up by the fireplace inside the Qualico Family Centre located on the edge of the Duck Pond.
The Park Café will be offering delicious breakfast and lunch options if all the outdoor fun gets you hungry. Hello winter!
