Discover Agriculture in the City will return for it’s 10th year in the heart of Winnipeg beginning Thursday, March 13 to Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the historic Forks Market.
The free, three-day event offers a rich and colourful glimpse inside one of Canada’s most vibrant industries. Discover modern agriculture and learn about the impact on our daily lives through interactive exhibits, presentations, activities and cooking demonstrations. You’ll be amazed by agriculture’s reach and impact.
Kids can take in the interactive booths and participate in the game shows. Adults can meet and talk to local farmers, discover new recipes, learn about the science and innovation in agriculture and attend our cooking demonstrations.
CJOB will be broadcasting live on location on Thursday from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, Virgin Radio on Friday from 11:00 – 3:00 pm, and the one-and-only Ace Burpee will do hosting duties from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday. Ace will also be participating in our main stage activities, including a live cooking demonstration.
