The Hoop It Up 3on3 Basketball Tournament will finally return to Winnipeg after a 5 year absence. It will take place at Garden City Shopping Centre (2305 McPhillips St, South Parking Lot) from Saturday, June 28 to Sunday, June 29, 2014.
The 25th Anniversary Season of Hoop It Up will tour nine cities across North America, Winnipeg will be the only Canadian stop on the tour.
The tournament is open to males and females ages 8 and up. There will also be a wheelchair basketball division for ages 14 and up.
Team Registration Fee is $160. If you are a bit more competitive, you can register for the $220 Men’s Top Gun division. The winners from the Men’s Top Gun division will head to Toronto for a World Tour Qualifying Tournament set for July 4-6, 2014. The prize includes airfare for 4 to Toronto from Winnipeg, hotel & tournament fee.

We see this event as a great new opportunity to connect to the exploding 3×3 world as the 3 on 3 game is moving closer and closer to becoming an official Olympic discipline as early as the 2016 Rio Games!”
