Beyoncé and Jay-Z blew the nonexistent roof off Investors Group Field when they visited Winnipeg for their On The Run Tour.
The two-and-a-half-hour show featured 40-plus songs and was a perfect mix of a nightclub show (Jay-Z) and an arena mega-show filled with choreography and pyrotechnics (Beyonce).
Winnipeg was one of just two Canadian stops for the On The Run Tour. The couple is rumoured to be grossing $5-million per venue, which makes them the second highest earner of all time on a per-show basis. The only act to earn more per venue was U2 during their 360 trek, who saw $6.7 million each show.
