The rumours are true! Foot Locker House of Hoops will be opening at Polo Park Shopping Centre soon.
An opening date has not been announced, but the photo above (taken at Polo Park Shopping Centre expansion area) confirms the new location. It will be Winnipeg’s first House of Hoops.
House of Hoops is a basketball-themed store from Nike and Foot Locker. The store usually features a hardwood basketball half-court with backboard. All things Nike Basketball can be purchased here including Nike Basketball, Air Jordan, Converse and Sport Culture products.
Winnipeg already has a growing population of hardcore shoe collectors. Local organization Winnipeg Got Sole held a sneaker event earlier this year at the Bronx Park Community Centre. Hundreds of Winnipeggers showed up to buy, sell, and trade rare collectible sneakers.
House of Hoops releases exclusive limited edition products every three weeks for purchase. The Polo Park Foot Locker already sees long line ups (think iPhone, iPad, XBOX One, PS4) when a new pair of Jordan’s are released.
