To celebrate the 66th Annual International Day of Human Rights, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights will be offering free admission today.
Museum hours today are 10am – 9pm.
Other events today include:
- The Museum’s Annual Public Meeting
- A special Canadian citizenship ceremony with Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the Province of Manitoba
- Evening programming co-presented by the Museum and the Assembly of First Nations Special Chiefs Assembly Host Committee
They’ll also be hosting a photo contest today. Post photos of your Museum visit on December 10 and you could win a 2015 calendar. Use #VisitCMHR or #VisiterMCDP when sharing your photos on Instagram or Twitter for a chance to be one of 12 winners picked throughout the day. The last draw will be held at 8:30 pm.
