Sony Pictures Entertainment has come to an agreement with Marvel Studios to bring Marvel and the amazing world of Spider-Man back together on film.
Here’s a list of upcoming Marvel movies that Spider-Man could appear in:
- Captain America: Civil War – May 6, 2016.
- Doctor Strange – November 4, 2016
- Guardians of the Galaxy 2 – May 5, 2017
- Thor: Ragnarok – November 3, 2017
- Black Panther – July 6, 2018
- Captain Marvel – November 2, 2018
- Inhumans – July 12, 2019
- Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 – May 4, 2018
- Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 – May 3, 2019
Under the deal, Spider-Man will first appear in a Marvel film. Afterwards, on July 28, 2017, Sony will release a Spider-Man film that will be co-produced by Kevin Feige (Marvel) and Amy Pascal (Sony). Sony Pictures will continue to finance, distribute, own and have final creative control of the Spider-Man films. Characters from Marvel may also appear in the Spider-Man films.
