Humphrey, a 16 month old polar bear from the Toronto Zoo, has arrived in Winnipeg and is now in his temporary home at the International Polar Bear Conservation Centre at Assiniboine Park Zoo.
He’s the seventh polar bear the International Polar Conservation Centre has taken in.
“Humphrey arrived safe and sound and is adjusting to his new surroundings”, said Dr. Brian Joseph, Director of Zoological Operations for the Assiniboine Park Zoo. “All signs indicate that he is in good spirits and it will be a smooth transition as he is slowly introduced to the other polar bears.”
You can visit Humphrey at the IPBCC.
