Winnipeg’s Jonathan Toews, the Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks, will once again bring the Stanley Cup to his home town.
It will be on display at the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex at 1188 Dakota Street in St. Vital on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 2:30pm – 3:30pm.
The Dakota Community Centre, where Jonathan Toews grew up playing hockey, was renamed the Jonathan Toews Community Centre in July 2010.
This will be the third time Toews has brought back the cup to Winnipeg.
Jonathan Toews was born and raised in Winnipeg and his parents still live in the city.
