Derrick Rose fans can’t catch a break.
The former NBA Rookie of the Year and MVP suffered an accidental elbow to the face during training camp. An x-ray revealed a left orbital fracture. He will undergo surgery at Rush University Medical Center on Wednesday. There’s no timetable for his return.
Derrick Rose was scheduled to come to Winnipeg on Saturday, October 10 to play a preseason game with his Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’ll indefinitly miss the trip.
