BDI (Bridge Drive-In) Opens for 2016 Season on March 12

Summer is near! BDI (Bridge Drive-In) will open for the 2016 season on Saturday, March 12 at noon!

For the second year in a row they’re opening up shop 2 weeks earlier than normal due to the amazing weather we’ve been having.

Located just by the Elm Park Bridge at 766 Jubilee Ave, it has been dubbed one of Winnipeg’s favourite Ice Cream shop.

Their Reese Peanut Butter Cup Flurry is still on the top of my list!

BDI’s peak season is from June – August but with Spring Break in full effect and our amazing March melt, you can expect some long lines.

The staff are well trained to handle large crowds. Don’t be discouraged by the long lines… they move fairly quick.

Did You Know? Elm Park Bridge was built in 1912 and it was open to two-way vehicular traffic. The deck of the bridge is only 15 feet wide. In 1965, it was closed to vehicular traffic, and is now used for pedestrian traffic linking Kingston Crescent with the Jubilee/Osborn.
