The Assiniboine Park Zoo is looking for 150 volunteers to fill a variety of roles in the Park and Zoo.
“Park and Zoo volunteers help with a wide range of activities year-round and play an essential role in the Assiniboine Park and Zoo visitor experience,” said Shaun Leonoff, APC Advisor, Volunteer Resources. “If you love the outdoors, wildlife and engaging with people, I encourage you to apply to our program today.”
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Ambassadors
- Interpreters
- Visitor Services Concierge
- Special Event Assistants
- Zoo Camp Crew
Volunteer positions are open to anyone aged 16 years or older.
A new position this year is the Zoo Camp Crew. It’s perfect for youth looking to earn community service hours while working with six to 12 year old Zoo campers under the direction of the APC Education team.
