Selkirk Avenue between Salter Street and McGregor Street will be completely closed to vehicular traffic until July 31, 2016. The closure is required for the first stage of a major street renewal project.
Immediately following the completion of stage one, stage two of the project will commence which will require the complete closure of Selkirk Avenue from McGregor Street to Arlington Street. It is anticipated that stage two of the project will be completed by September 30, 2016 at which time Selkirk Avenue will be reopened.
Pedestrian sidewalk access will be maintained throughout the project.
While repairs are underway motorists should allow additional time to get to their destinations, and use alternate routes.
