Saturday, February 4, 2017 is Take Your Child to the Library Day. Winnipeg Public Libraries will have craft and story stations, literacy-based games, and special events including puppet shows and family concerts.
Customers will also have the opportunity to swap their current library card with a special children’s card (in English or French) free of charge. The card contains messaging of talk, sing, read, write, and play – the foundational activities to develop early literacy.
