Winnipeg Transit’s Peggo fare collection system is currently experiencing temporary system delays. Riders are encouraged to purchase products online to avoid delays at retail outlets.
The new transit system that launched last year allows riders to simply tap their card against the peggo card reader on the farebox, wait for the beep, and go. Fares are automatically subtracted from the card.
A empty peggo card has an initial fee of $5.00.
