More than half of Winnipeg will see a change to their Recycling and Garbage Day beginning October 1, 2017.
The city will be split into two collection areas, with a different contractor servicing each area. The change will improve efficiently and safety. Trucks and equipment are expected to be off the streets by 6pm.
To view your new Recycling and Garbage Day, visit http://winnipeg.ca/waterandwaste/garbage/collectionday.stm and enter your address in the field. You’ll then be presented with a calendar. Make sure to advance the calendar to October to see if there is a change in your schedule.
