Get some shopping done while your kids trick or treat!
If you’re a parent who isn’t a fan of long walks in chilly Winnipeg weather, then perhaps you’ll want to bring your kids some of Winnipeg’s safe Trick-or-Treating options.
Various malls throughout the city will be offering Safe Trick-or-Treating where kids can collect candy from various stores. Parent’s have peace of mind that their kids are safe from traffic and any strange homes they may come across.
St. Vital Centre (Tuesday, October 31):
They invite all the monsters, zombies, ghosts, butterflies, fairies and superheroes to come stay dry and warm on October 31 for Safe Trick or Treating, starting at 6pm.
Free treat bags will be distributed in Centre Court for kids 10 and under, while supplies last.
Kildonan Place (Tuesday, October 31):
Kids in costume can visit their stores from 2:00pm – 4:30pm to Trick or Treat in the comfort of the mall. Get your Trick or Treat bag, some goodies* and list of participating stores at Guest Services!
*Available to the first 1000 kids
Grant Park (Tuesday, October 31):
Stop by Grant Park Shopping Centre for thier annual, Safe Halloween event!
This year get a taste of Medieval castle life. Visit thier castle display at Landmark Cinemas and children ages 0-16 may enter thier “Missing Shield” contest for a chance to win an ULTIMATE treat bag!
Trick-or-Treat through the mall from 4:00pm -7:00pm and don’t miss out on getting a FREE photo at thier photo booth in Centre Court during that time.
